There are many ways to use this special pillow with your baby and yourself. Here are our personal recommendations:
1. TRAVEL & LOUNGING SUPPORT
No bobbing heads, just pure safety and comfort.
When you are out and about or just simply lounging with baby, you want to make sure that your baby's head and neck is safely prepared for movement.
To use The Butterfly Pillow for car seats, strollers and baby bouncers or loungers, simply let baby's head and neck rest on the centremost part of the pillow and adjust for comfort.
2. NURSING SUPPORT
No shoulder, arm and back strain, just pure bonding and comfort.
Nursing with baby is a time for nurture and bonding and you want to be as relaxed as possible during this time whenever, wherever you are.
To use The Butterfly Pillow for nursing support, position the pillow to hug your tummy and rest your elbow and arm on it. Let your baby lie down naturally whether with a cradle hold, cross-over hold or football hold and adjust for comfort.
3. TUMMY TIME SUPPORT
No worries, just pure physical development, fun and comfort.
Tummy time is one of the best ways to strengthen your baby's neck and back as they push up and down. The pillow supports them and its butterfly wings protect them from rolling over. Personal Note: I did this with my own baby from 2 months onwards to help develop her strength and we are glad to report that she was able to sit, crawl, and walk earlier than norm amongst babies her age as noted by her pediatrician, too.
To use The Butterfly Pillow for tummy time support, place baby's chest on the softest and centremost portion of the pillow with the tummy on the middle recess, let arms and hands rest on the wings of the pillow and adjust for comfort. Play and bond with baby or even let him/her watch a learning video that's full of positively stimulating baby songs.
4. SITTING SUPPORT
No worries, just pure physical development, fun and comfort.
When your baby is just about ready to sit up or learning to sit up, you can always use the Butterfly Pillow to support your baby.
To use The Butterfly Pillow for sitting support, place the pillow on baby's tummy with the middle part on his tummy and hugging chest and the wings supporting arms and sides. Always be beside your baby to provide the necessary support and guidance.
