MUST READ -- Frequently Asked Questions!
Q: What is "STRIP IT" cold wax / sugaring
A:"STRIP IT" is the BEST ready-to-use hair removal sugaring in the Philippines! SUGARING is also known as Egyptian sugar wax. All natural & water-soluble, so it’s safe to use on the face, body, bikini area, and even on sensitive skin.
Have a whiter skin that is silky-smooth and hairless for weeks!
Sugaring removes hair from the roots (epilating); below the skin's surface thus hair is unseen from
2-4weeks. It is one of the reasons why it’s preferable than shaving or using depilatory creams.
Many users report that waxing slowly reduces the growth of hair,
so the more often you wax: hair growth will appear sparser, softer & finer.
Any hair appearing before 2 weeks is not re-growth but hairs that were too short to be removed during the procedure.
Using “Strip it” will you give a clear, smooth & lighter skin. It exfoliates, since dead skin & dirt are stripped off. It’s laced with moisturizer making the skin soft. And the Calamansi lightens the skin!
Since sugaring adheres tightly to the hair but not the skin, there is 50% less pain & discomfort as compared to using other waxes. Each session becomes less painful as time goes, because the hair follicles turn weaker every time and die. This also means less chicken skin.
“Strip It” is a type of cold wax. No heating is required;
salon quality results at home by following easy steps. No need to avail expensive waxing service.
Get the great benefits of waxing while saving time & money!
Q: Is it safe to use on the face and bikini areas?
A: YES! It’s safe on facial hair and bikini area (even for Brazilian waxing) !
It consists natural ingredients so it will not result to any allergies.
It's water soluble, just wipe off you skin with a wet towel after wards.
Q: Does waxing darken the skin?
A: Waxing actually helps whiten your skin coz it takes out the hair from its roots so walang matitirang hair remains. The hair is black right? So pag natanggal lahat ng hair mas maputi ang effect sa skin unlike shaving , yung root ng hair is still slightly visible giving your skin a darker shade. And yung tutubong hair is thinner coz its a new hair na. Imagine a grass , when you cut it maggrow lang yung bottom part so wider lang ung tutubong part . But when you remove it from the root , the new grass that will grow will be thinner coz it'll start as a small or baby grass ulit (its regrowth).
Same as through with hair, pag ginupit or shave lang mas makapal yung tutubo. But when you pluck or wax manipis na yung tutubo or baby hair na yung tutubo since its a new hair. And gradually if you've been waxing long enough mas konti yung hair na yung nagreregrow since namamatay na yung ibang hair follicles.
That's why through time pag nag wax ka sobrang dali nalang for you since hindi na kasing kapal at kasing dami when you first tried it.
MOST OF ALL ITS CALAMANSI INGREDIENT PROMOTES SKIN LIGHTENING!
I also recommend exfoliating the underarms once a week and refrain from using deo’s with aluminum zirconium.
Q: IS STRIP IT HAIR REMOVAL SUGARING (wax/coldwax) REALLY SAFE??
DEFINITELY! it is very safe to use even sa mga nagdadalaga palang!
I have cousins na pre-teens like 12-14 years old and I wax their underarms. They are lucky coz they won't experience the negative effects of shaving like burns, itchiness, ingrowns, darkening, chicken skin etc.
Its made out of sugar and honey so its safe to use even on the face kasi there are no harmful chemicals na makaka irritate ng skin. ako nga I even have skin asthma pero it doesn't trigger allergies. you just have to clean up ur skin well with a wet cloth after waxing para di malagkit. Its water soluble so madali lang i-wipe off sa skin. It even leaves a moisturizing effect .PLus it removes dead skin and hair roots/shafts kaya it helps whiten the skin (esp underarms)
So there..it is safe to use and it can even moisturize and whiten skin.
For diabetics, ask your doctor first.
Refrain waxing when you have your monthly period or pregnant, you are extra sensitive to pain at this time.
Q: How long until the hair grows back?
A: 2-4 weeks, depends on how your hair grows. On average your skin can last hairless ; Bikini area 4-6 weeks, Facial hair 4-5weeks , Legs/arms 3-4 weeks, Underarms 1-4 weeks.
Q: How long is the wax’s shelf life or how long before it expires?
A: The wax can last to a full year after opening.
Q: How do I store it?
A: Keep the container tightly closed when not in use and keep in room temperature.Do not refrigerate or leave the container open. It will absorb moisture from its surroundings making it too soft. And when refrigerated ,too hard .
Q: Is "Strip It" wax safe to use on pregnant women?
A: Pregnant users reported that their OB’s said it was ok to use Strip It since it is all natural (it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals). But others said they were advised to refrain waxing the underarms while pregnant since it’s near the mammary glad. So it is best to check with your doctors first.
Q: What do I apply Immediately after waxing?
A: You don’t need to apply anything the wax has antibacterial and moisturizing effects for your skin.
Refrain from washing it with running water and soap since your pores are still open at that time. Wait 8-24 hours before washing & putting deodorant/lotion. (24hrs for underarms & bikini area). It’s also indicated in the instruction sheet to just wipe it with a wet cloth after waxing; this will also remove residual wax on the skin.
For extra soothing you can apply aloe vera gel, and for extra skin healing use Emu oil after waxing.
Q: Why Brazilian Waxing ?
A: It will not only make you feel fresher, but you will be fresher.
You will not have the stubble, the itch or the razor burn that comes with
shaving and you don't have to worry about slicing yourself with a razor blade.
It lasts much longer than shaving, four to eight weeks.
It's great for swimmers and sunbathers.
You don't have to worry about making a
wrong move and baring hair. Just the thing for those skimpy bikinis.
You'll be able to get that all over tan more effectively, whether under
the sun or in the tanning bed.
... and your significant other will love it!
Q : How to "DO-IT-YOURSELF BRAZILIAN WAXING"
A: *Read everything first before attempting to do it
*Make sure the are is dry and clean
*Trim hair to half an inch (except for the bottom part)
*Use Strip it/Striptease cold wax
( This won't work for other waxes, I know you've been copying everything on my site for your own product ;p )
*Prepare an icy cold wet towel
I have been waxing myself for years, so everything I put here is based on my experience. Especially this part, and I'm going to be honest with you girls... there's no such thing as pain free Brazilian waxing.
Good thing, "Strip it" is cold wax (meaning lesser pain) and I discovered a way to minimize it! - Ms. Arlette, Owner of Strip It!
The main technique is, do it in narrow vertical parts/patches.
(don't apply wax on the entire area at once)
Cut the provided strip cloths vertically (pahaba) into 3 parts.
Start at the outer side (bikini line / singit) or the area first moving inwards.
Do each side alternately.
And top to bottom..top (triangle) , middle (labia:which looks like cheeks),
lastly bottom / behind
Apply just enough wax that your cloth strip can cover (the one you've cut) to one side of the area.
Remember to follow the direction of your hair growth,
so more-or-less apply wax downwards.
Leave a space at the end of the cloth for pulling.
Take a deep breath, hold it in.
Then pull SHARPLY with force as rapidly as possible at the opposite direction.
(Pull closely or parallel to the skin).
Press immediately with your icy cold wet towel...
And you'll be surprised how less the pain is.
(Believe me! It took me sometime to do waxing in larger areas thinking that It'll be over and done with sooner. But this is a better technique.)
So, repeat procedure on the other side and vice versa.
Then do the middle part same procedure goes.
Lastly, on the bottom, there is actually no particular one direction of hair growth so..put wax on an uncut strip (maximize the space).
You really have to squat for this part of the procedure.
Place it on top of the area (can I say butt hole?) anyways, pull from the back to the front quickly.

Q: How to prevent / treat ingrown hairs (tiny bumps)
A: An ingrown hair is a red bump on the skin. They usually appear when you shave...What happens is the hair breaks off
below the skin. It begins to grow at an angle into the side of the hair follicle. This can also mean that when you waxed, you lifted the strip up from the skin and not parralel to it (note: Always strip off the cloth at the opposite direction of the hair growth, sharply and quickly).
Ingrown hairs are more common among people with very curly hair or dehydrated skin.
Identify the ingrown hair. Not all bumps on the skin are caused by ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs, often called razor bumps. They typically look and feel like a small pimple. You may also be able to see the hair just below the skin.
Exfoliate (gently) your skin before your waxing, as well as on a daily basis.
This process gets rid of dry skin cells and prevents hairs from growing back into the skin.
You can use body scrub to exfoliate your skin.
Thoroughly wet a clean washcloth with very warm water and press it on the area.
Use a sterile needle or tweezers to gently tease the hair out of the skin. The warm compress should have brought the hair to the surface--don't dig for the hair if you can't easily get at it.Don't pluck the hair out completely if you can avoid doing so; just make sure that the ingrown end is out of the skin.
It may take a little time to coax the hair out.
* This is according to experience and research ( most are treatments suggested by doctors). I have way hair and
dry skin that's why I have had those when i first waxed.
Usually, first timers are more prone to this. If it persists you can contact me thru txt or mail.
Q: How to prevent bruising from waxing?
A: If you are diabetic, or the skin to be wax has an open wound. Refrain from waxing.
If you bruise easily ex. you always see bruises on your skin not knowing how you got them. You must have gotten them without feeling any pain on the area, it might have been bumped slightly and a bruise will already show.
To prevent bruising make sure to hold skin very taut while waxing. Be sure you’re using the right thickness of wax on hair, otherwise the extra force to remove the excess wax can cause the bruising.
If you don't bruise easy but you get them from waxing otherwise, you may need to consult a dermatologist.
