"As a qualified Beauty Therapist having used various facial lifting machines over many years, I was asked to road test the 'Stop'. As I expect a lot from my skincare and various face lifting gadgets, the 'Stop' was not going to get an easy time.

It is the only gel that should be used during the treatment with the TriPollar STOP. TriPollar STOP Preparation Gel forces the TriPollar energy deep into the dermis layer that the STOP treatment targets. The STOP Preparation Gel prevents the overheating of the epidermal layer during treatment. Other types of gels may cause the skin surface to overheat and will also block the energy from reaching deeply into the dermis.
Q.2: How many applications would I get from the gel provided?
A.2: The amount of Preparation Gel provided with the TriPollar STOP clinical skin renewal device should last for a full block of treatments (approximately 12 + individual treatments). You should apply a thin even layer all over the face or over the area you intend to treat. There is no need to apply thick layer of the gel to get desired results.

Q.19: What energy level should I select – High / Medium / Low ?
A.19: The TriPollar STOP clinical skin renewal device is personal and was designed to enable each user to adjust it to their comfort level. Q.27: Would there be any facial fat loss caused by the TriPollar STOP™ tripollar treatment course?
A.27: TriPollar STOP is a device indicated for facial tightening and as such, the technical parameters of the device have been adjusted to stimulate collagen in the dermal layer and not go deeper into the hypodermis (location of the fat cells). The set parameters (in terms of power, treatment time and the warming effect) are not adequate for treatments on the fat layer. The TriPollar™ energy induces an increase in dermal activity resulting in the stimulation of collagen production and thickening of the dermis (the skin’s foundation of elastin and collagen) leading to visible skin tightening, firming and renewal without any loss in facial fat.
Q.28: How best to use the TriPollar STOP around the eyes and will it help with puffiness and assist in lifting?
A.28: When working around the eye use the orbital bone as your guide. Center the TriPollar Stop along this bone, using it in 3 linear sweeps: above the eye, below the eye and to the side. You can get a wonderful lifting effect when working above the eye and tightening and toning under the eye to assist in reduction of puffiness. Never use the STOP over a closed eye across the eyelid nor move any closer toward the eye away from the orbital bone.
Q.29: Do I need to use the STOP clinical skin renewal device on every area or can I choose problematic areas and focus on them?
A.29: There is no need to use the device on the areas you do not feel you have any need for. For instance – should you have crow’s feet and only want to work on that area - this is fine. The device delivers results in the areas that you want to improve!
Q.30: Can I use the STOP clinical skin renewal device over the centre of my neck?
A.30: Use of STOP over the centre of the neck is not recomended. You can use the STOP on the sides of the neck and over the decolletage. You must also NOT use the STOP over the breasts or arm pits.
Q.31: What is the operational temperature at which the Stop Clinical Skin Renewal Device works?
A.31: When the Stop is switched on and the green light shines, the temperature is 36 degrees C. When the orange light comes on, the temperature is 38 degrees C.When the green light begins to flicker, thus indicating activation of safety mechanism, the temperature reached 40 degrees C.
Q.32: I purchased both tripollar devices - the STOP Clinical Skin Renewal Device for Face & Neck and the POSE Clinical Skin Tightening Device for Body. Can I use the same treatment gel or do I have to continue buying the Tripollar STOP Gel as well as the Tripollar POSE Gel?
A.32: The Tripollar Treatment Gel formula is the same for both tripollar devices. The only difference is the quantity of the gel that the tripollar devices are supplied with. It is highly likely that you will use more tripollar gel with the POSE as you will be treating larger areas of your body with the POSE than with the STOP. If you own and use both tripollar devices, it will make good financial sense to purchase the Tripollar Gel in 130 ml tube as supplied with the Tripollar POSE. As there is only one tripollar gel formula, you can use the same tripollar gel for your Tripollar STOP treatment and for your TriPollar POSE treatment.
Q.33: Should I worry about moisturizing, when carrying out TriPollar Stop treatments?
A.33: It is always important to moisturize and nourish your skin. It is of paramount importance to deliver moisture to your radio frequency treated skin. Radio frequency treatment is a 'hot' treatment that triggers collagen regeneration. However, whilst stimulating collagen regeneration, the heat also increases the 'thirst' of the skin. It is therefore important to deliver plenty of moisture to the surface of the radio frequency treated skin.
You should use the Stop 'After' cream immediately after the Stop treatment and add plenty of your own moisturizer about an hour later. Always moisturize your skin thoroughly on the days between treatments. Some people find the Bio-oil very effective and use it before adding another good moisturizer - day cream or night cream as appropriate. Bio-oil is also very good moisturizer to use prior to make up and also adding extra moisture to areas prone to dryness over the make up in the course of the day. It is simple, fast and refreshing - just put the Bio-oil on your finger tips or palms of your hands and tap touch your face and neck gently, taking care not to disturb or smudge your make up.
