Next9 Ring Slings Php 1,000
Yummy Mummies Monica & Denise have been fans of the baby sling since Santi & Benny were newborn babies! See photos below for some early memories with their all-time favorite baby carrier - the ring sling! "Ring slings have a longer learning curve than pouches. However, their adjustability means a perfect fit with every wearing. Some young babies prefer the upright, or tummy-to-tummy hold, which can be difficult to achieve in a pouch. Young babies who cannot hold themselves upright tend to squish down into the pocket of the pouch. With a ring sling, the top rail can be tightened to support a young baby in a vertical position. Some people feel that ring slings are easier for breastfeeding, because the whole sling can be loosened to lower the baby to the breast. Open-tailed slings also have a built-in breastfeeding cover. Breastfeeding in the sling is "advanced babywearing", and takes patience and practice to learn in any type of sling."

BARBARA TAYLOR BRADFORD -- The Triumph of Katie Byrne Php 8,000
The Triumph of Katie Byrne by Barbara Taylor Bradford php70 * pre-owned * paperback * in good condition SUMMARY: Seventeen-year-old Katie Byrne stands shivering in the cold Connecticut woods, her flashlight illuminating a scene out of a nightmare. Carly, one of her two closest friends, lies beaten and unconscious, her face covered in blood. Moments later, the horror escalates when Katie's brother discovers the lifeless body of Denise, the third member of their inseparable trio. Nearby is the old barn where only hours before the three girls joyfully rehearsed Shakespearean speeches for an upcoming school performance. For Katie, who returned to the makeshift theatre to retrieve schoolbooks she had forgotten in her haste to get home early, the tragedy marks the end of a long-shared dream. The girls began acting together as ten-year olds with stars in their eyes, fantasizing about the day they would all move to New York and take Broadway by storm. Now, only Katie can realize the dream. Ten years later, Katie, a tall, lanky beauty with reddish-gold hair, is a struggling actress in New York. Haunted by the memory of Denise's death and by thoughts of Carly, who still lies in a coma, she longs for the fame and celebrity they imagined together so long before. After an acclaimed performance Katie finally wins a starring role on Broadway and begins a promising love affair. But before she can step into the spotlight, Katie must escape the dark shadows of the past. GENRE -- Mystery / Suspense

Cloverfield (DVD, 2008) USA DVD Horror Thriller Movie Php 200
For your Consideration, I am offering Cloverfield (DVD, 2008) USA DVD Horror Thriller Movie Additional Details Genre: Science-Fiction/Fantasy Format: DVD Region Code: Region 1 Credits Director: Matt Reeves Leading Role: Michael Stahl-David, Mike Vogel Movie synopsis Director Matt Reeves (THE PALLBEARER) and producer J. J. Abrams (LOST, ALIAS) turn a mysterious monster loose in Manhattan in the disaster flick CLOVERFIELD. The movie begins at a party for Rob (Michael Stahl-David), who has accepted a promotion that will send him to Japan. Hud (T. J. Miller) is entrusted with the responsibility of videotaping the party--and as the trouble grows, he holds on to the camera, recording everything that happens. In fact, the entire movie is seen through the lens of his camera, reminiscent of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. As terrified people in a post-9/11 New York City take to the streets, Rob decides to head uptown to try to save Beth (Odette Yustman), the woman he loves, though he's afraid to tell her so. Rob is joined by his brother Jason (Mike Vogel), Jason's girlfriend Lily (Jessica Lucas), Lily's friend Marlena (Lizzy Caplan), and Hud, who has a thing for Marlena. Rob is determined not to give up, even after almost being crushed by the Statue of Liberty's head and as the military shows up to force evacuation of the city. Reeves and first-time screenwriter Drew Goddard, who previously has written television episodes of such series as BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, ANGEL, ALIAS, and LOST, focus in on the central aspect of the story: people trying to survive the monster attack. Very little else is explained, since the story is told completely through the video camera. And there is no additional score to heighten the drama; the only music is that which is picked up by Hud and the camera's microphone, including snippets of songs by Kings of Leon, Parliament Funkadelic, Of Montreal, and others. The anticipation of CLOVERFIELD's release was enhanced by a viral marketing campaign that included Web sites built around the main characters and even the fictional drink Slusho. "CLOVERFIELD is a surprisingly gripping thriller. Employing a pseudo-documentary handheld camera style, it offers a fresh spin on the monster movie genre." USA Today - Claudia Puig (01/20/2008) "There is a visceral, pit-of-the-stomach dread to the scenes of urban destruction that rise above mere genre." Los Angeles Times - Kevin Crust (01/18/2008) "[A] surreptitiously subversive, stylistically clever little gem of an entertainment..." -- Grade: B+ Entertainment Weekly - Lisa Schwarzbaum (01/25/2008) 5 stars out of 5 -- "CLOVERFIELD brings a new, more primal fear to the monster movie....[Made with] whip-smart invention and brilliant simplicity." Empire - Olly Richards (03/01/2008) 4 stars out of 5 -- "Breathless blockbuster entertainment with a bracing political payload and satire to spare." Total Film - Andy Lowe (04/01/2008) "[T]he production team's integration of handheld low-light long-take camerawork and effects is a peculiarly austere marvel....CLOVERFIELD's uncomprehending vision can be chilling..." Sight and Sound - Henry K. Miller (04/01/2008)
