Preparation: - Hair to be removes should be at least 1/8 of an inch or 3mm long for the J. Tomas No Hair Wax Kit to grip successfully. Clean area with soap and water, then rinse and pat dry. Area should be free in lotion, cream, oil, perfume or perspiration. Dab talcum powder lightly if skin is oily to allow wax to hold better, then brush off powder completely. Application: 1. Working in a small area, using the spatula, apply a thin coat of the wax in the same directions of hair growth. 2. Place the rough portion of the washable cloth strip immediately on area to be waxed and press cloth firmly, 2 to 3 times, in the direction of hair growth. Cloth strip should be slightly larger than area to be waxed. Leave a small space at the end of the strip for pulling. 3. Hold skin tout and pull off strip in one quick motion in opposite direction of hair growth, keeping strip as close to skin as possible. Do not pull off outwards. Do not peel back for if you do, the strip will appear to be sticking to skin, which may cause bruising. **If you hold the skin tout and remove quickly, the wax comes away cleanly and freely gripping only the hairs with minimal discomfort. Immediately, knead with fingers or palm the waxed area until all area is fully waxed.** 4. Slight reddening and minor stinging of the skin is normal after wax treatment. It is best to dab the area with cold compress to close the skin’s pores. If severe reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. Do not proceed with the full waxing treatment. 5. After hair removal, rinse away any wax residue with warm water.
