Black Soap is recommended for the young and the old. Black Soap is known to leave the skin smooth and soft; as a facial soap it is known for clearing acne. African black soap has been used in Africa for the treatment of rashes, ring worm, eczema, and also as a natural hair shampoo to avoid itchy and dry scalps. We do not recommend direct use of African Black Soap on the skin, due to it being in its raw material state. Therefore, we suggest lathering it in a wash cloth or sponge before use on the skin. Storage African black soap should not be exposed to excess water and stored in a cool dry place. African black soap is soft and has a very high content of natural glycerin. Because of its natural glycerin rich content it absorbs moisture from the air and becomes softer if not stored in a cool dry place or in a sealed polythene bags. Production Process SUN DRYING The skin of the cocoa pod is sun dried to a specific texture and then roasted in a clay like oven. During drying, the heat is kept at a constant temperature in order to maintain a particular smell, color and texture of the dried cocoa pod. ROASTING OF COCOA POD The cocoa pods are then roasted. The roasting process determines the color of the African Black Soap. The longer the roasting process, the darker the Black Soap. MIXING OF COCOA POD WITH PALM KERNEL OIL After the roasting process, the cocoa pod is mixed with pure, unrefined, natural Palm Kernel Oil. This process leads to the formation of the soap. No scents, preservatives, chemicals, color enhancers, dye, charcoal, or fragrances are added during mixing. PACKAGING The African Black Soap is then poured into molding blocks and then heat-sealed. Our unique and quality controlled production process makes our traditional African Black Soap produce a very thick and soft lather which leaves your skin moisturized and soft. Our African Black Soap has a natural earthy smell. Fair Trade Following the guidelines of Fair Trade, the manufacturer of our African Black Soap pays much higher prices for this product by providing the women in the Northern Region of Ghative societies with interest free loans, credit facilities, training in packaging, labeling, and quality control services, therefore a higher price for their quality processed African Black Soap is justified. Made from tropical honey, shea butter, cocoa pod, aloe vera, and other all-natural ingredients. This amazing soap is made to soften skin, heal signs of aging or scarring, and revitalize your skin. Ingredients: Pure honey, Shea butter, Osun (Camwood), Potassium Palmkernelate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Glycerine, Aloe Vera, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice, Water and Essential Oils for Fragrance. F A Q What is the difference between Amonche Soap and Raw African Black Soap? Amonche is a commercial brand. Basically, RAW african black soaps differ from one another in ingredients depending on the supplier or which part of Africa they come from. Amonche Soap is simply RAW AFRICAN BLACK SOAP (as you can see from the picture). It is just moulded, boxed and is made available commercially. Amonche is better than non-branded raw ABS because the soaps are made in a clean, hygienic dedicated facility for soaps. REMINDERS: 1. Please do a patch test to know if you have allergy to any of the ingredients of this soap. 2. AMONCHE Natural African Black soap is guaranteed made from natural ingredients and FREE from chemicals. We advise that you provide a good soap dish to prevent melting of this soap. Amonche soap is very rich in natural glycerine, glycerine attracts water, if not properly stored, this soap could easily melt 3. Amazingly, after the first use, this soap will turn into a gooey, transparent soap (glycerin type), from opaque brown soap. Do not be alarmed, it is not melting. It will stay gooey but not necessarily it has "melted" (it should still last), just make sure to provide a good soap dish. SIZE: 150gm PRICE: PhP248

RAW AFRICAN SHEA BUTTER Php 18,000,000
Shea Butter Today(PURE WHITE) Shea Nuts after shelling Today, shea butter is acknowledged all over the world for its nourishing, enriching and toning properties for skin & hair. Like every good product, traditional African shea butter has been dissected into refined, processed, industrialized, extra refined, ultra refined and a muddle of other names. The commercial method of extracting shea butter has also added to the perplexity of shea butter. In most circles, shea butter is used as an ingredient in soaps, shampoos, conditioners, hair relaxers, lotions, hand & body creams etc. There is nothing wrong with using shea butter as an ingredient. As long as it is unrefined shea butter and the portions in the product is generous. It is important to preserve the ancient methods of shea butter. Shea Butter is nature's wonder.

OBUASI AFRICAN BLACK SOAP Php 138
OBUASI: African Black Soap Customized for Asian skin If you love Raw African Black Soap, Amonche and Dudu Osun, we're quite sure this soap won't disappoint! Made with emollient coconut and palm oils, honey, shea butter, and no artificial color enhancers, this soap creates a rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses the skin. Recommended for most skin types, especially oily, combination, sensitive, blemished, normal, mildly dry, and dehydrated skin. Excellent as a basic, daily soap for the facial and body skin. If you are suffering from acne or occasional skin breakouts or large pores, this soap will help control skin break outs, can help dry up pimples and shrink the pores. It can also lighten pimple marks and other scars. Although called 'black' soap, it was named african black soap to refer to the black people using the soap. The color of the finished product is can vary from region to region. The color of African black soap ranges from a deep dark (almost black) brown color to a light tan color, depending on the plants and techniques used (such as the kinds of plant matter and roasting times). Yes, it is not uncommon that amonche and other similar black soaps, turn into soft, sometimes gooey soap because of the heat during shipment. Because of the high glycerin content of the soap, it can easily melt and can also "sweat" during cold weather. OBUASI African Black Soap is medium tan in color, with white speckles of coconut and palm solids. It is hard (like DUDUOSUN) and formulated to withstand the warm weather in Manila. Having said that, this soap is harder compared to our amonche soap (probably as hard as duduosun) and will turn somewhat softer, but not gooey, upon first contact with water. (Amonche African black soap by the way amazingly turns into a gooey, transparent soap, from the original opaque, brown soap after its first contact with water) OBUASI African Black Soap is made from PURE RAW AFRICAN BLACK SOAP with potash produced from the ashes of plantain skins and cocoa pod ashes. Please note that it is not uncommon to see “dirt” / “sand” (aka real charcoal) occasionally. How to use: Since this soap made use of cocoa pod ashes, you may find the occassional grit. Is is advisable that you rub the soap into your hands first rather than straight onto the face or body. 90gms SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER: 1pc = php138 each 3pcs = php121 each 6pcs = php118 each To avail of a discounted 1pc OBUASI African Black Soap (pay php118 instead of php138), simply tag 5 of your facebook friends. If you have sensitivity to nuts or caffein, use african black soaps with caution as they contain shea butter and cocoa.

100 GRAMS 338 PHP SHEA BUTTER - Vitellaria Paradoxa: Shea Butter SHEA BUTTER - Vitellaria Paradoxa Shea Butter is a natural plant extract with exceptional moisturizing properties which comes from the karite or shea tree. The Shea tree, formerly Butryospermum paradoxum, is now called Vitellaria paradoxa. It produces its first fruit (which resemble large plums) when it is about 20 years old and reaches its full production when the tree is about 45 years old. It produces nuts for up to 200 years after reaching maturity. Many vernacular names are used for Vitellaria, which is a reflection of its extensive range of occurrence – nearly 5,000km from Senegal (west) to Uganda (east) across the African Continent. It usually grows to an average height of about 15m with profuse branches and a thick waxy and deeply fissured bark that makes it fire resistant. The Shea tree grows naturally in the wild in the dry Savannah belt of West Africa from Senegal in the west to Sudan in the east, and onto the foothills of the Ethiopian highlands. It occurs in 19 countries across the African continent, namely Benin, Ghana, Chad, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Guinea Bissau, Cote D’Ivoire, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Togo Uganda, Zaire and Guinea. Shea Butter is used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and in Europe it is also used in the confectionery and chocolate industry as a cocoa butter substitute. People of all ages and skin types utilize shea butter because of its many uses. Every house should have a jar of shea butter for smoother skin or for treatment of minor skin injuries around the house. Shea butter can be used to treat various skin problems including dry skin, psoriasis, burns, blemishes, eczema, wrinkles and stretch marks. Other uses: Adds and maintain moisture to dry and brittle hair, revitalizes, repairs breakage & split ends and promotes hair growth. Benefits: Eczema, Infant eczema Dermatitis Dry skin, dry scalp and hair Psoriasis Cracked skin Cracked, bleeding skin Cuticle repair Itchy Skin Muscle fatigue, tension & aches Rough heels Rheumatism Arthritis Sunburn relief Skin rashes, diaper rash Scars Surgical incisions and scars Skin blemishes, dark spots Stretch marks prevention Wrinkle, fine line reduction & formation Reactivation of collagen synthesis Increases skin balance, elasticity and tone. Amazing skin moisturizer Protect skin during cold weather Shaving Cream Karitebaum - Vitellaria paradoxa There are two main varieties of shea butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (West African) and Vitellaria Nilotica (East African). Butyrospermum Parkii is produced in West Africa where as Vitellaria Nilotica is produced only in Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan. At room temperature Eastern African shea butter is softer than West African shea butter. It is creamier and silky, making it quick and easy to apply. Eastern African shea butter is also slightly in higher therapeutic properties. Eastern shea butter has a sweeter scent than West African shea butter. Eastern African shea butter is rarer because of lower shea production and also because of civil unrest in Uganda and Sudan. There are many differences between unrefined and refined shea butter. Most noticeably are the scent, color and benefits. Unrefined shea butter maintains its nutty scent, ivory - beige color and all of its healing properties. Refined shea butter has been chemically altered to remove shea butters natural scent, is bleach white in color and retains only a small portion of its natural healing properties.
